"State Governor receives a Silver Surf Surfboard..."
Visiting Santos to open Roberto Mário Santini Municipal Park, Jose Serra – Sao Paolo governor, got the board specially made for the occasion with a personalized painting of Tomie Ohtake sculpture and with the saying: “Santos, where surf was borned in Brazil.”
The board was given as a tribute from the surf community for the Park creation which was desired by the surfers for a long time.
Now, the park has a stand for surf contests, a skate park and an area for the practice of other sports. That was a big gift for Santos and it will help a lot the sport in town.
