"Paddle Festival..."

After the big success of the first edition, realized in April, the Second Paddle Festival will happen in Santos, next November 8th. It will be divided in 6 different categories for man and woman: Hawaiian Canoe, Kayak, Paddle Board, Stand-up board, Long board and Body board starting at 3 pm at Ponta da Praia Beach in a 2.5 kilometers distance. The festival is supported by Silver Surf and it was realized by Rodrigo de Deus, responsible for the Integral Surf Treino (a physical training specific for surfers). Some sports personalities will be there and some attractions like Hawaiian dance will be promoted.

Social Action

As in the first edition, the Festival will have a sustainable character, besides the inscription fees, each participant should donate 5 plastic bottles to the Pastoral da Crianca. The trophy was made by the Surf Recycle Team with surfboards products that would be left at the environment. Special need competitors will not be charged for the inscription fee (just need to bring in the bottles). The importance of blood donation will also be talked there by Adoas. The inscription fee costs R$40,00 up to 5th November and R$60,00 from 6th November. It can be made by the internet or at Fit Santos, 98FM – A Radio Rock, Surf Store and Silver Surf.
